John Lamberton Bell is a Scottish hymn-writer and Church of Scotland minister. He is a member of the Iona Community, a broadcaster and former student activist. He was Rector at the University of Glasgow from 1977 to 1980, the first (and last) student to be elected rector. Sometimes referred to as a modern-day John the Baptist, he has a passion for congregational song. He lectures, preaches and conducts seminars across denominations in Europe, the Americas, Asia and South America. Rev. Bell will be our very special guest preacher on July 26. Don’t miss it.
