Welcome to Second Presbyterian Church!

We are a vibrant downtown church in Richmond, Virginia that seeks to know Christ and make Christ known. 

We welcome all whom God calls into the life, worship, work, and leadership of this church without regard to cultural heritage, gender, skin color, socio-economic status, circumstances, or sexual orientation.

Look what we are doing...

On Tuesday February 7th, Second will host a Presbyterian Day at the General Assembly. The event will include pointers on how to be an effective advocate at the GA and will offer an opportunity to voice your concerns by joining with others to visit your legislators. We encourage you to register for the event to be able to attend the GA sessions. We will meet at church for briefing and update on advocacy issues active in the GA, then visit GA legislators and sit in on part of the session before returning to Second. 

We celebrate The Acts of Faith Festival which runs through March. We are the convening sponsor for this festival which includes 20 other faith communities and numerous theater companies across the metro area.
