Children’s Church School

Children Ages Three and Under

Nursery Care is provided for our infants through toddlers (three years) during church school and worship. The infant, crawler and toddler rooms are located on the second floor of the Virginia Building, rooms 201 and 203. Skilled paid workers and church members provide secure, loving care for our children. Our nursery care continues throughout the summer and runs from 9:45 - 11:15 am.

Children Ages Three, Four, and Five Years

The preschool children use the “Wee Believe” curriculum of the PC | USA and meet in the middle nursery room. Wee Believe early childhood curriculum is specifically designed for toddlers (18 to 36 months) and preschoolers (three to five years). It is written and designed to nurture the development of faith through age-appropriate Bible stories. Recognizing that young children learn through repetition, most Bible stories are explored over two sessions.

This year Katie and Elisabeth King will teach this class.

Children Grades 1 through 5

First & Second Graders -  will be taught this Winter by Treva Thomas & Chris Madigan

Third, Fourth, & Fifth Graders - will be taught this Winter by Nancy Foltz & Helen Adams

We will continue to use our wonderful Cinema for movies, our Good News Café for cooking, and other venues to keep things exciting and to enhance our learning and growth in faith.

We will divide the year into three terms:                                           

FALL SESSION - September 11 - November 20
